Mattel Creations listed 94 pieces in September 2025. None of them went up as a pre-order.
Dates here are listing dates: the day the product went up for sale on the maker's own store. They are not ship dates. A figure sold as a pre-order can be listed many months before it arrives, and makers rarely commit to a shipping day in advance.
What is limited
Mattel Creations state an edition size on 2 of the month's listings. Most figures carry no stated limit at all, which is the normal case: a maker who has not published a number has not promised one, and an unnumbered figure is made to demand.
| Piece | Edition | As stated |
|---|---|---|
| Gary Baseman Toby Is Swell as Matty Mattel Plush | 500 | Only 500 |
| Mattel 80th Anniversary Hot Wheels Original 16 Rally Case Set | 4,000 | Limited to 4,000 |

Where this list comes from
Read from Mattel Creations's own storefront feed rather than from a retailer or a round-up, so the prices are theirs and current as at publication. Prices change and sell-outs happen; the product pages linked here carry the live state.
One caution about dates, stated plainly because it shapes everything above. A storefront records when a listing was published, and that record also moves when a shop re-publishes its catalogue in bulk. Listings whose only timestamp falls inside such a bulk window are left out of these monthly figures rather than counted as that month's releases.
